Features of ICO Gnosis and comparison with ICO Augur. :)

in #news7 years ago

https://gnosis.pm/. Gnosis - the market of predictions, built in the form of a system of smart contracts on the blockbuster Ezerium. On April 24, the Gnosis team held a crowdsdale, which resulted in $ 12.5 million in 10 minutes 48 seconds. It was the third project of the project in the ecosystem of Ezereuma, which ended in less than 15 minutes. The other two are FirstBlood and SingularDTV.

Mechanics of the Crowdsdale Gnosis

Gnosis was the first project on the Ezerium, and most likely in the whole ecosystem is crypto-currency, which used, so-called,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_auction. Dutch auction. Its essence is that at the beginning of the crowdsdale, the maximum price is set, which then gradually decreases over time. The Dutch auction was realized with the help of a smart contract. Another feature of the crowdsdale was the dependence of the number of tokens sold on ICO from the price of one token. The earlier krusejdl ends and the more the price of tokens - the more tokens remain with the developers.
In accordance with the terms of the smart auction contract and the high price of one token on the ICO was sold only
https://cyber.fund/system/Gnosis: 417,000 (about 5%) tokens of 11 million existing.

40% of all ETNs that were invested in Gnosis were made by 2 transactions. Chart of the distribution of all transitions on the graph below.

About 95% of all released tokens remain with the Gnosis team. This caused noticeable dissatisfaction with a certain part of the crypto community and reinforced the activity of those who believe that ICO leads to unjustifiably high capitalization of crypto currency.

In a blog reported that 99% of all tokens that remained with the team are frozen by a smart contract for a year.

Comparison with ICO Augur
Because Augur is considered the main competitor of Gnosis, the comparison can be give us some insights.
https://cyber.fund/system/Augur

Augur passed in August-October 2015. As a result, 8.8 million tokens were sold and 11 million were issued. The distribution of shares in investors and developers in Augur is very different from Gnosis, which is clearly seen in the diagram below. Some of the tokens (4%) from Augur were transferred to the Forecast Fund.

Consequences for the ecosystem
You can be sure that the commands of other crypto currency will use a similar model for future ICO. And this is logical, why give the investors a large share, if you can not do this?

Great discussion point. I was about to post a similair post. The crypto market: High risk high gains!. That doesn't mean that a gain is guaranteed though. There's simply no guarantee in anything in life and especially not in a high risk market. An interesting website I found: https://www.coincheckup.com Amazing opportunities came to light when I started using this coins to analyze cryptos.
