Sanctuary Cities vs Federal Govt.
I think most of us saw this one coming. The acting ICE director plans on making a big push into sanctuary cities to arrest and potentially deport anyone found to be in the U.S. illegally. This, of course, will be opposed by these cities mayors and local law enforcement setting up a very interesting showdown.
Regardless of your position, I think this may be an explosive standoff between these communities and the federal government. I will be watching this situation with a lot of interest to see who blinks first.
