Obi-Wan Kenobi and Boba Fett Movies on HOLD

Collider has reported the the Obi-Wan Kenobi is on hold. The reasons, and evidence, for this are:

  • Director Stephen Daldry and other creatives have left the project.
  • Disney is going to focus on one project at time and thus everything is on Star Wars Episode IX
  • Other resources are going to be moved to the TV series Star Wars Resistance.
  • Insiders are saying this is a result of the poor showing of Solo.
  • Ewan McGregor has been cast in the Shining sequel called Dr. Sleep playing the older version of Danny.

Let me know what you think of this news. I was really looking forward to the Obi-Wan movie.

    I was very much looking forward to the Obi Wan and other various spin offs they were going to try. Waiting for things to stay on the same exact story line is great, but the other stories are written already in the animated series and such. It is just a matter of developing them into movies. I am a huge fan and it is disappointing to me as well.
