Yes, It's official... India to Regulate Crypto-currencies by March 31st!
The Indian government plans to regulate cryptocurrency exchanges to keep track of transactions conducted there by March 31st, a panel set by the government will come up with proper regulatory rules on cryptocurrencies and exchanges.
The exchanges which have been set up currently are not regulated exchanges. They are in a way self-set up, self-regulated. It has not so far imposed curbs on an industry estimated to be adding 200,000 users in India every month.
The decision to regulate crypto exchanges is a very good news for all crypto traders in India. All the exchanges are ready to co-operate with the government in framing these regulations.
