He's lived here in the US since the 1970's. We are in Texas. He has several friends from there who he has known forever. They all came over here around the same time. They have been hanging out since the '70s. Still all friends. They travel back and forth to visit family. None of them like the religious regime. None of them even claim to be Muslim. They see religions as control systems. I should be seeing him and my mom on Sunday. I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say. I know he will be happy if the oppressive religious regime would go away.
