There are many abandoned skyscrapers in our world, and sometimes it becomes dangerous to enter, and some of them have not yet been built. Let us now review the most prominent of these abandoned landscapes.

        1- Stirick Building in Memphis Tennessee

At the time it was completed in 1930, the building was the tallest building in the southern United States and was used as an office building. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, and by the 1980s it was completely vacant.


       2- Confinanzas Financial Center in Caracas, Venezuela

Construction of the financial center began in Caracas in 1990, but the investor died in 1993, and a banking crisis broke out in the country.the project stopped. Some residents moved to live in 2007, but the government has vacated to remove but under construction as it is without residents.


      3- the Tower of Ingenia in Mexico City Mexico

The tower was completed in 1962 and was the second-tallest building in Mexico. It consisted of 25 floors and was initially used as a local residential complex and became the headquarters of the National Bank of Public Works.


     4- The Plaza Tower in New Orleans Louisiana

The tower consists of 45 floors and was completed in 1968. It was used as an office building and was abandoned in 2002 for mold and asbestos problems, and the sale of 2011 at an auction.


     5 - Book Tower in Detroit Michigan

The 13-storey building was opened in 1916 and 10 years later it was connected to a 38-storey skyscraper. Many of the city's offices and businesses were closed in 1970, including this building. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, and the number of tenants was reduced due to lawsuits and mortgages, with the last tenant leaving in 2009.

Construction has continued for four years but has been stalled by security concerns and the structure of one of two giant skyscrapers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has a similar skyscraper, Charles de Gaulle.

The building was originally built as a office, shopping center, and construction was halted in 1975 because of the Lebanese civil war. Armed militias occupied the upper floors of the building and were used to fire. The building remains standing despite damage.


      9. Sathorn Alfred in Bangkok, Thailand

The tower consists of 49 floors and construction began in 1990, but due to lack of funds and the arrest of the building designer stopped construction, called the ghost tower.


        10. Ryujeong Hotel in Pyongyang North Korea

After the North Korean economy entered the crisis in 1992, the construction of the hotel, which began in 1987, was halted. Construction resumed in 2008 but was halted again in 2013. Since then, the building has been opened but not yet opened.
