The defeat at the Stadio Olimpico did not prevent the Reds from getting into the Champions League final this season.

Liverpool successfully secured a move to the Champions League final this season despite a 4-2 defeat of AS Roma in a semi-final semi-final duel at Stadio Olimpico on Thursday (3/5) early morning GMT.

The Reds remain on course for the tournament's final to face Real Madrid thanks to grabbing a 7-6 aggregate lead, after they won their first meeting at Anfield last week.

Roma are pursuing aggregate scores directly presenting the attacking game from the beginning and the game progressed interesting because Liverpool also played a similar scheme despite being in a position on the wind to get away.

Roma's positive momentum has to be dispersed after their mid-minute defense in the ninth minute. Blunder Radja Nainggolan not wasted Roberto Firmino to send the bait which was then completed perfectly by Sadio Mane with left foot kick.

But it only took six minutes for Roma to score the score into a draw with James Milner's own goal. The Liverpool midfielder was in a position that is not exactly appropriate so that the ball of Dejan Lovren's point about his face to go into his own goal.

Roma continue to lock Liverpool's defense when the game enters the final third of the game. Jurgen Klopp's army could not do much, with some movements Mohamed Salah up Firmino able to muffled the home row of the host.

Dzeko again threatened the Liverpool goalkeeper in the 81st minute, tapit gap does not lead to the target. At this point, Klopp made a tactical change, by strengthening his defense, entering Ragnar Klavan for Mane.

The strain of the onslaught of Rome to fruition four minutes ahead of normal time ended, Nainggolan successfully breaking Karim's goal with a kick from outside the penalty box.

The drama occurred when entering three additional minutes of time, Roma were awarded a penalty after Klavan was considered handsball. Dzeko successfully run the execution, but there is no more time left for Roma to equate aggregate and must be marginalized.
