J.W.R. has done a lot of good work. I highly recommend his book, "How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It". He owns "Survival Blog" which is a great site to get relevant information on how to prepare for when SHTF...
I can't really say enough good things about James; however, please take what he says with a grain of salt... In the past, James has implied that "you better get ready because a collapse is likely to happen soon", but "soon" turned out to be not so soon. The truth is nobody knows when the Great Collapse" is going to fully manifest itself with all of God's fury... Nobody knows when, so please don't drop everything , quit your job and run for the hills just yet... Don't do it unless you can afford to be wrong or you really love country living ....

Yep. But when you do start prepping, treat it like stacking. Just don't stop. Slow and steady wins it. The most important thing always regardless of collapse is your soul and every soul around you.
Yes, I agree. Moreover, God is the One who ultimately saves both body and soul. Remember the fiery furnace? Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego didn't run from death, but they put their faith in God. Correspondingly God can rescue all those whom He chooses. Are all of the servants of God to move out of the cities and unto a homestead? Is that really God's will?
This is why I say take advice, anybody's advice, including mine, with a grain of salt and a prayer. I don't think J.W.R. would disagree with anything I wrote above...
