For those that don't know, the USA is modern-day Babylon, the prophesied "Babylon the great" that will fall.
The International Monetary Fund has its headquarters in Washington, D.C. USA, it is an organization that consists of a vast number of countries working together with a primary focus on monetary co-operation, international trade, and economic growth.

For decades now, many countries have been trading internationally using the US dollar, they are effectively buying and selling merchandise with the currency of Babylon. At the head of each country there is a political leader (kings of the earth) insuring the economic growth and wealth of their country, they do so even knowing the crimes that the US has committed throughout the world (take a look at the 'democracy' the US has brought to the middle east), they are "the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her"... But, is all this about to change?

With the recent trade wars; tariffs, and sanctions implemented by the US on other countries, many of them are fighting back with their own tariffs and even threatening to switch from the US dollar to payments in national currencies for trade. In other words; "the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more."

The USA seems to be revealing itself as the mentioned Babylon in Revelation 18 through the effects of the ongoing trade wars, but this may not be the only piece of the prophecy coming together here... There were reports in late July and early August of eight massive fires blazing in California with one being dubbed the "Holy fire", and a record breaking 12km-high "fire tornado", with "apocalyptic scenes" that is "like Hell on Earth"...
