Pentagon revealed the weaknesses of the US Army

The Pentagon said that the American army should be ready to conduct a variety of military operations.

In his National Interest article, the words of the Director of the US Armed Forces on the budget of Major-General Paul Chamberlain. According to him, "the revisionist powers, like Russia and China, the rogue regimes of the DPRK and Iran, along with terrorist organizations pose a serious threat to US interests."

Chamberlain also called the key problems of the army and noted that the efforts of modernization competitors are gradually leveling our advantages.

He noted that the new draft budget will allow the US Army "to have more lethal power, to be flexible and ready to reflect current and future threats."

The Major-General explained that the budget provides for combating terrorism and provides funding for counter-terrorism operations.

Thus, the Americans laid the budget for the development of precision weapons, the creation of new-generation combat vehicles and the replacement of the military aircraft fleet with the technology of the Future Vertical Lift project, the improvement of communication systems within the armed forces, the improvement of air defense and missile defense systems, and the increase in the firepower of servicemen.
