How much did the military spend yesterday? $23.4 billion

Lockheed Martin was yesterday's gigantic contract worth $22.7 billion modification to a previously awarded acquisition contract for 255 aircraft. The modification adds production and delivery of 106 F-35s for US services and 89 F-35s for non-DoD entities, plus 60 F-35s for foreign military customers.
