Startup Twenty Two Motors Introduces India's First Cloud-Connected Electric Scooter!

With an increase in pollutants and decibels in the air, the world is perhaps understanding the need for developing an increasingly sustainable lineup of silent, battery-powered two-wheelers.

India, especially the National Capital region, is suffering from acute air pollution. ELectric powered two-wheelers, just may be a step towards a cleaner environment.

Homegrown electric two-wheeler maker Twenty Two Motors has launched the Flow electric scooter.

Twenty Two Motors, an electric vehicle startup, is launching its first electric scooter at the Auto Expo 2018.

The Flow boasts of a host of features including artificial intelligence, electric braking and digital console. It uses a DC motor powered by a lithium-ion battery and it can be charged within 5 hours.

The battery offers a range of 80 km on a single charge with a speed of 60 kmph, and the company offering an additional battery that doubles the range.

Other features include reverse mode, cruise control, drag mode that lets you use the bike at crawling speeds in case of a puncture, and SOS function as well.

The Flow also comes with dual disc brakes, alloy wheels, electric braking system (EBS), LED headlamps, and also the option of a wireless charging for the battery.

The company claims a warranty of 50,000 km on the Twenty Two Flow. The electric scooter makes 90 Nm of peak torque and has the provision to store up to two helmets. With fiber body, the scooter is light on its feet with a kerb weight of 85 kg.

The user can track the vehicle remotely while the Geo-Fencing feature allows for security against theft. All this is available at Rs 74,740 ($ 1100).
