The Part Of Kosovo That Is/Could Become Serbia??
Josh Friedman reports from North Kosovo, showing some of the territory that was suggested being swapped for land in Southern Serbia.
What is the current status of the land swap proposal? Is it alive? Is it dead? If the land swap were to occur, what might happen to the divided city of Mitrovica?
In this video take a glimpse at Mitrovica's dividing river and bridge, as well as the Serb-dominated Zubin Potok region in North Kosovo, a place where tensions recently spiked as a result of visit by a prominent Kosovar politician.
- On the day the report was filmed, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said in a media interview that French President Emmanuel Macron has given his support for the proposed land swap.
