Afghan Asylum Seekers Trekking Through Southeastern Turkey

Josh Friedman interviews three Afghan asylum seekers as they walk through Southeastern Turkey, approaching the city of Tatvan. The migrants discuss why they left Afghanistan, their journey to Turkey and what they are now seeking in life. The three Afghans are joined by one Pakistani migrant, who gave an interview that will be published in a separate video.

This interview was recorded on August 11, 2021, four days prior to the fall of Kabul to the Taliban.
