The Mandela Distraction

How many conspiracies can the machine behind the curtain throw our way before we realize it’s one big distraction?

Lately, I’ve seen much ado about the notorious Mandela Effect. Granted, when I started looking into it, I found myself becoming more and more drawn toward the rabbit hole. In fact, it got to the point where I’d come across evidence of change and then couldn’t even be sure of my own memory. I’d say to myself, “Hmmm, now that you mention it, I think the history HAS changed.” Of course, a lingering feeling of doubt would continue to tug at me. Is someone else’s assuredness in the Mandela Effect impacting my own memory? Am I being swayed? What the heck is going on??

But as with all conspiracies, once I stood back and let the excitement wear off, it started becoming clear that this is yet another one of those things designed to keep us chasing our tails while the powers-that-be run roughshod over society.

I enjoy a good conspiracy from time to time. And considering that Hollywood and network television are no longer capable of producing quality entertainment, I find myself more and more on Youtube looking for distractions cloaked as truth. But as I take a step back from this, it’s all too clear that we, as a society, have dropped the ball at home.

I cannot say for certain what the machine has in store for us all, but it seems evident that in order for it to take control, it must first interfere with the basic relationships we have as a society.

Perhaps instead of committing random acts of kindness, we should consider committing random acts of kindness...in our own homes: to our spouses, children and parents.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if the means by which humanity could regain control of this already out of control world was by simply taking care of business at home?

“Absurd!” you say. “That’s too darn simple.”
