Texas House of Rep Passes Crypto and Blockchain-Friendly Bill
Texas House of Representatives passed a bill to classify cryptocurrencies under commercial law in the state. This bill is an amendment to the state’s Uniform Commercial Code towards blockchain innovation and digital asset regulations. Texas Senate will oversee the bill next for any proposed amendments and then most possibly a final vote of approval which will enable the Texas Governor Greg Abbott to sign the bill into law. 100,000 Micro Bitcoin Futures Traded in 6 Days on CME
CME Group, the world’s largest financial derivatives exchange traded more than 100,000 micro bitcoin futures within the first six days since launch, according to the exchange. This new smaller contract, including the full-size bitcoin futures will strengthen the exchange’s ability to help their clients. Ethereum’s co-founder Vitalik Buterin, donated over $1 billion in crypto to the India Covid Relief Fund and to other charities. The donation consist of large quantities of Shiba Inu coin (SHIB), Dogelon (ELON) and Akita Inu (AKITA) which were gifted to him by the meme tokens’ creators.
