The international predator class broke free from democracy when the British Empire disintegrated.
They created a contagious global corruption which we can recognise as a much larger and richer criminal Empire.
The Panama Papers showed us a glimpse but there have been many investigators working to expose the full scam, which amounts to nothing short of global financial cannibalism.
The "enablers" working for this corrupt system are frequently oblivious of how much they are contributing to the robbery of their own countries.

We need to strengthen corporate tax.
Create much tighter regulations.
Stop wealth extraction.
Introduce state audits.
Hosting a huge international financial centre in our City of London is not good for the UK as a whole and therefore it is wise to abolish the City of London tax haven privileges.
While I strongly agree that the problems you point out are bad and need to be addressed, I don't agree that government is the solution.
All these mitigations accept the state as the means of effecting these solutions, and I would like to point out that it is regulation by states that has made these problems at all.
Simply attacking the source - government by force - of these vectors for criminal depredations will end them without trying to use the source of the problem to solve the problem. Government created these means of preying on us. Trying to use government to solve the problems government created will only make them worse.
Freedom is the cure for oppression, and voluntary associations of individuals are natively competent to exclude oppressive predation by institutions that rely on governmental regulation.

Thanks for your correction to my thinking! Of course you are absolutely right.
Anarchy is so heavily propagandised that it achieves little support.
Otherwise it would have succeeded by now.
Maybe I should research that next and write about it.
