DIRTY BOMB | Internet Conspiracy Gets Out Of Hand - Is This The End Of George Webb?
Crowd Source the Truth is a small group of online citizen journalists and investigators headed by George Webb and Jason Goodman. Today they did a livestream to You Tube and reported on a possible dirty bomb attack in Charlestown set up by the Awan brothers.
Geroger Webb reveals this information at around 49:20mins on the live stream and continues to elaborate on it for another 1hr 30mins. He explains that he called the United States Coast Guard and told them about the possible dirty bomb aboard the Mersk Memphis. He goes on to say the coast guard were "hesitant to call out all the dogs and radiation meters without knowing who are sources are.” Webb explains his sources “exist within the Midwest,” were “American patriots saving our country from terror attacks”. Goodman and his team then started to track a cargo ship called the Maersk Memphis that was heading to Wando port terminal, Charleston.

Obviously putting stuff like this out on the internet can be very dangerous especially if there is no proof to back any of it up. Within minutes this information was posted to Reddit and 4chan/pol.

After reports from various concerned citizens I guess they had to do something so they put up a safety zone around the ship r a couple hours after the initial report and started updating people via Twitter.

Is George Webb the person that has been arrested?
At time of writing George Webb hasn't posted on any of his social media accounts today. Also weirdly Jason Goodman currently has a live stream on You Tube but hasn't mentioned George Webb yet.
The George Webb Reality Show-- entertainment, fan fiction, larping, school play, limited hangout, disinformation campaign, or truth? We live in crazy times.

Possibly a set-up? He just got arrested for DUI. This has gone off the rails.
I was unaware of his arrest for DUI, but given his fondness for an occasional taste, I could not discount it out of hand, nor properly ascribe such to suppression or attempt to censor.
He certainly has made himself vulnerable to counterattack, and, given his position on revealing sources (somewhat loose) might well have made it relatively easy to feed him this particular tidbit.
The nature of intragovernmental associations and surreptitious contacts does make it trivial to craft an overtly plausible and straightforward action that would preclude his further reportage, while behind the scenes only a bit of derision and outrage would provoke disproportionate sanction.
Clearly his reports are unsavory to many, and, despite a total lack of response by those his reports blacken, would be libelous if not factual. It is the utter lack of such defense of their names and characters that implies the factual nature of his reports.
Surely his public reach, as evidenced by his audience spreading this information into social media juggernauts /pol/ and reddit, has extended to the perception of his targets. Were there defenses to the implications, they would have been employed, imho.
No suits for libel have been brought.
So, this would be an ideal way to both end their discomfiture, and revenge themselves on GW.

I haven't given up on George by any means. I wish he would give up on Goodman and that woman though. They are just leaching off of him and using him for there own internet fame. George seems to have lost a lot of his focus since joining up with Goodman.

Yes. The last thing we need is in fighting. It makes the community look foolish. Either Jason set him up in order to create some drama for his show or George is actually a bit nuts. Have you seen Georges alleged brother has come out recently and said his brother is mentally unstable.
I did see some of that, yeah. I have been watching some of Nathan's videos at Lift the Veil where he dissects (brother) Dave Acton's latest video. The video is Strange as shit but so is Nathan's theory that George and Dave are the same person. Dave did say he was mentally unstable and Dave said a lot of other shit too, like how George slept with his wife. He also had Defango on and they had it out a bit...so convoluted now.
I was just checking to see if George or Jason have posted anything new, but doesn't appear to be anything out yet.
I think you and i can both agree that what's happened here is some kind of effort to sabotage the investigation and a discredit campaign. It's proving to be quite effective too, because we cannot determine the source of the disruption.
Just another thought, maybe one of George's trusted sources played him, like the former FBI/NYPD which he claimed the sources to be legit.

What I find strange is that a YouTube page which seems to have been operated by Dave Acton had all of its videos removed and now uses a picture of George Webb as its thumbnail. It doesn't help unravel the personas confusion.

Thanks for the answer. I'm actually interested in the information that Dave Acton can provide. He's brilliant like his brother and he does provide a completely different point-of-view. Isn't that what we are all looking for as truthers? Following the facts leading us to the truth, wherever the facts may come from and whatever the truth might be? I think nobody providing info should be discounted based solely on his or her personality. I agree with you that Dave comes out a bit as arrogant, but we have to understand he's on the defensive, because he's being dragged against his will by some of his brother's critics into George's investigation. Anyway, that's how I see it without having followed every little bit of the story's developments.

I am glad the appropriate authorities did look into this vigorously, and hope they found nothing, and that nothing ever comes of it.
Given the attempted murder of Scalise by a 'Never Trumper' I suspect the PTB are going to have a look at threats posted on social media from that ilk.
I don't think such threats are without substance, or over, sadly.
