- A young protester girl has been shot in the eye at close range with a rubber bullet gun by a member of the police. She suffered a ruptured eyeball and will be permanently blind.
- Multiple injuries on the police side, reported 2nd / 3rd degree burns as some protesters hurled homemade petrol bombs in the direction of the police.
