"The past month of Jason Chaffetz’s life has been a series of nonsensical moves, controversies, sudden reversals, and all around suspicious behavior – and now he appears to have settled on his exit strategy. Amid whispers of scandal, Chaffetz abruptly announced he won’t seek reelection. Then he said he was bailing for a month for surgery on a twelve year old foot injury. Then he was back a few days later. But now he has a new claim which points to the exits."
