The AFCON 2019 Finals Draw. Holders Cameroon start against Guinea-Bissau , hosts Egypt start against Zimbabwe
The Draw took place yesterday in Cairo, Egypt and all 6 groups have been confirmed.
While Nigerians think they are in the 'Group of Life', South Africans feel they are in the 'Group of Death' since they have to play against former AFCON winners Morocco and Cote d'Ivoire in their group stage matches.
This is the first AFCON tournament to be played with 24 participants, which means the top two from each group as well as the four best third-placed teams will be the ones to qualify for the round of 16. It will take place in Egypt in June and July 2019.
This tournament will kick off on 21 June 2019 with a clash between Mohamed Salah's Egypt and Billiat's Zimbabwe. The final will be played on 19 July 2019.
