Picard returns after ST:D (New TNG Series in the work)!

It's been 16 years since the legendary crew of the Enterprise E rode off into the sunset, Riker took command of the USS Titan, Data ended up dying and was replaced by Derp Data (B4), and Picard finally got a seatbelt installed on his Captains chair!!!
But fear not fellow Star Trek fans, our time has come!!!
Dust off your uniforms and get ready for Admiral Jean-Luc Picard to return to our screens in a new Star Trek series.
In my opinion, the TNG movies didn't live up to the show, and the recent Star Trek Discovery with (added Kling-orcs) demolished Star Trek Canon faster than Tribbles reproducing whilst in heat and on amphetamines. I am interested to see how this has been handled.
Of the new show, little is known! To quote Time Online "So far, no details have been revealed about the name of the series, its premier date or how many episodes it will be, THR reports. The new series is the third franchise spin-off of the beloved sci-fi show, joining Discovery and Star Treks on CBS’ on-demand subscription platform."
