Doctors pose nude to raise awareness

It seems that people just don't feel as though what they are doing is important enough unless it trends on Twitter and Instagram so a bunch of people who spend their entire lives receiving accolades for being medical professionals and are currently the most appreciated people in the world decided to hilight the fact that they are not getting as much PPE (personal protective equipment) that they need by baring it all and putting it on Instagram in the search for "likes"

If you were hoping that these people would just happen to be brilliant doctors and also super hot, you will be badly disappointed. They are about what you would expect a doctor to look like. I'm not suggesting that there is no such thing as an attractive doctor, but there aren't any in this group.

However, I am not here to pick on people for not being good-looking, I'm certainly no Adonis myself. This is classified as "dumb" because it just seems like it doesn't matter what someone is protesting, or promoting, or drawing attention to, someone is always gonna get out their in their birthday suits for more "hey! pay attention to me!" moments.

Is it tragic that doctors don't feel as though they are getting enough PPE, is it even worse if that is actually what is going on? Of course it is. However, I can guarantee that this promotional stunt is at least in part motivated by the individuals wanting some sort of personal fame out of this.

I can also guaranteed that this will, at least for a bit, result in fake doctors in the United States performing the same thing only this time their efforts will not even be directed at an actual issue. Therefore, the message, which might have been effective in this situation, will get convoluted and watered down until it no longer means anything anymore. This is the other "me-too" movement - one where attention-seeking idiots need to be in on the action, even if it has nothing to do with them.

Either that or everyone will just forget about it in a few days anyway.
