A sudden influx of articles normalizing heart attacks in young people

in #news2 years ago

The timing of this is just hilarious and it is a bit maddening to me that there are certain arms of the media, or perhaps almost all of it, that seem to politicize almost anything. I don't think that you need to be terribly up to speed to realize that it certainly is not normal for people in their 20's and 30's to be having heart attacks, but some media outlets out there are doing exactly that.

Now I am not going to go full covid conspiracy theorist on ya, but I do remember a time when simply expressing any sort of doubt as far as the "official narrative" was concerned would get you deplatformed, demonetized, demonized, and dismissed by the powers that be in the media. These days there are a few people out there, including people who actually are involved in medicine, that are daring to suggest that these surprise heart attacks in otherwise seemingly healthy people, could have something to do with the Covid vaccine. I have no idea if this is true or not and neither do you. But I do think that the possibility is something that should be discussed now that magically we have the ability to do so without being hunted down by the speech police.

However, there are other outlets that are doing the truly absurd and writing articles that are trying to make heart attacks in your early 30's seem like a totally normal thing.

In this article, they show a bunch of statistics about how "heart attacks in young people have become increasingly prevalent between 2000 and 2016"and there is a reason why they chose this specific date range. They are attempting to indicate that this was always happening before anyone had even heard of Covid. Again, I have no idea if the vaccine is having ill-effects on people and for the most part, neither does anyone else, I just find it pretty amusing and also frightening that some media outlets like Yahoo are pre-empting the accusations and running defense for any criticism that might come towards the vaccines perhaps not being wonderful.

In the above article they talk about a guy I had never heard of because I don't watch American Idol and was unaware it was still on the air. His name was C.J. Harris and he died of a heart attack at the age of 31. They kind of glance over the fact that he didn't have any pre-existing conditions that would have somehow justified a person that young having heart problems... Then the other 80% of the article is propaganda attempting to make it seem normal for young, seemingly healthy people, to have heart failure.

What a load of nonsense. Now I am not saying that it is impossible for anyone that is young to have a heart attack but there is no denying that it certainly seems to be happening more frequently now than ever before, doesn't it? I'm also not saying that vaccines are definitely to blame because again, I do not know and if that information is actually out there, the powers that be will almost certainly bury it.

In the meantime we have unscrupulous media outlets like Yahoo that are so completely without any journalistic integrity that they want to make it seem completely normal for young people to drop dead from a heart attack.

Yahoo is not alone in this effort but thankfully, no one who is choosing to report it from this angle as far as I am aware, actually has any sort of trustworthy attributes or widespread audience. But then again, does anyone in the media actually have the respect and trust of the public?
