RE: CIA Data Dumpster Diving: Project Stargate Remote Viewing
I like the problem space. It is intriguing. Princeton had a long running PEAR project which investigated the link between intention and deterministic machines. They believe they found one, but were unable to explain it by attaching a theory.
My personal belief is that quantum effects are commonplace in our everyday lives, and they aren't scale dependent - think of the quantum shadows of leaves: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OwugHjT-SsM/S6rPiMMvmlI/AAAAAAAAA4c/ANt7jOFnQOM/s1600/Lok+Kawi+(17).JPG
I expect that commonplace quantum effects underpin the causal explanations of both remote viewing and PEAR-style intention. Unfortunately that is about as useful as saying the space shuttle operates because... gravity.
