Asteroids Close To Earth
There will be three asteroids travelling close to the Earth on 24th July. Can you imagine the size of the great pyramid of Giza? It is 147 metres tall and the base averaging 230 metres wide on each side if it helps a little bit.
Now imagine an asteroid that is nearly as big as the great pyramid which is one of the three asteroids.
It travels the speed of 69011.889 km/h and it will be closer than 384,400 km which is the distance from the Moon to the Earth.
According to Nasa there will be no asteroids impacting our planet in the next century.
The fact cannot be completely closed out that an asteroid will never hit the Earth.
