First look at U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem

Trump will be holding a video address for the opening of the embassy.

Memebers Attending: John J. Sullivan, the deputy secretary of state, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, US Special Envoy Jason Greenblatt, Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka Trump.
The new embassy will open with 50 staff members on May 14th with about 800 guest attending. And the US does't plan on meeting with any Palestinian officials.

The opening was expected to take three years. Trump said it would speed up the process by converting an existing US compound in Arnona, a southern neighborhood of Jerusalem.

Trump rejected plans by staff for a new embassy in Jerusalem that would have cost $1 billion and taken up to 10 years to build.
