Paving in an ecological and efficient way

in #news6 years ago

Australia has developed a new way of paving streets and roads, the TonerPave. In addition to being 40% less polluting, the TonerPave technology is cheaper and more durable.

The new technology, which emerged from the partnership between Downers and Close The Loop, uses a blend that uses toner from used printers, thus reducing CO2 production.

In addition to being less polluting, the method is as effective as traditional asphalt in removing holes and cracks in the streets.

The TonerPave is already being used on Australian roads to pave streets and avenues. The material does not require special machinery for its application, since it can be applied with the same equipment used by the bitumen-based waterproofing used in the traditional method.
