In summary, someone posted a message that Las Vegas would be targeted for an attack that would change security at the casinos. The attack would push people to create more security, because the already assumed high security was not enough to stop the attack. Part of this new security would be more metal detectors and the hated backscatter x-ray machines. Again, this message was posted back in September. And even if that date was faked, it was floating around the Internet before today.

A year ago casino magnate Steve Wynn warned that Las Vegas was a “target city” and disclosed a raft of new security measures, including invisible metal detectors and specially trained guards, designed to prevent a large-scale attack.
“This could be a turning point,” the executive said, speaking on condition of anonymity because security measures are private. “Every management team is going to move this up to the top of the list.”
While the warning focused on Sheldon Adelson, apparently Steve Wynn was already proactive in installing hidden metal detectors. And, according to Wynn and this report from experts, this is no longer enough security.
The warning said that it would start with the casinos and then move to other soft targets, such as universities, schools and government buildings. Handheld and regular metal detector machines are already in these buildings. The more advanced backscatter x-ray and other techniques are rare and they aren't required by law.
What happens if this message becomes true? I don't know why someone profiting from selling security machines is an issue. I don't know if the messenger is stating that the attack was caused in order to make that profit. It would seem to me, the last thing Las Vegas would want is for people to be afraid to go to Vegas.
Regardless of any underlying conspiracies about the shooting, it is a no-brainer that some politician will use this event for some sort of political gain.

But, I don't think the casinos are going to gain from this. They were hurting the last 8 years and probably just started to rebound.
I can see it as a hyping for safety to folks so yes they could gain from it. Scary world that is ever changing right now.
Oh man i remember listening to John Titor on coast 2 coast am. That was super fun to listen to. If time travel is possible, it could be real. But we'll never know. So he did get some things right, anything wrong yet?

If I had the time, I would break down all of his predictions of the future.
But, like I said, because of quantum string theory, he was either in the wrong timeline or changed ours.
Haha. Well that pretty much makes anything possible. It's a paradox. The act of him coming back makes us live on an alternate reality.
