Yes, it really depends on each person's circumstances.
The thing is that lower to middle class people aren't going to feel the real effect of the tax law until 2019, when they have to file. The bill is notoriously front-loaded to try and sucker people in to believing it's actually a good bill for everyone and not just the wealthy. @davidpakman
that's correct, not to mention there are also straight up temporary provisions in the bill
It seems like there's something fishy behind it.. In the Philippines, we also had our Tax Cuts. Yes, we receive an increase on our paychecks but the prices of gasoline, of course that includes transpo ticket prices and people's daily necessities went higher. It doesn't make any sense.
Taxes are used as a tool by the powers that be to do class warfare against the people. I think it makes perfect sense.
Perfect sense that the ones that suffers the most are those who are in the lower class and the ones that gets the more credit to it are those corrupt politicians? I don't know how that works. :)
I have gotten tax cut for 6 years LOL I am living in Turkey and We need to pay so much tax for everything. Thanks to government politicos.

Well there is a shitty system in the US with insurance,care and percentage but yeah...In germany it works, so i think such a big country like the US will have to change those ways...I hope.
Taxes are necessary for a state to function, but it isn't important for the state where the money is comming from.
For the individual people however it makes a big difference, because tax cuts for the wealthier people would either mean less money for the state or higher taxes for the poor. Resulting in worse conditions for them either way.
Yeah you are right and because of that "wealthier" people got a bigger percentage.
You need to take the cost of living into consideration a citizen have to pay compared to what the average get on money in the US.What about pension;healthcare;education et cetera.
Those things can cost in the US. They shouldn't!

As someone in the service industry I tend to see when people have more disposable income. Over the last 5 years there has been a large decline in my friends and my own income as a bartender. And my guests are always saying they don't go out as much because its too expensive.
