King George III Would Have Loved Today's Gun Control Movement

Gun control advocates typically either don't understand the purpose of the 2nd Amendment or they believe that governments have somehow become immune to the abuses of the past. A state monopoly on arms is a bad idea. It always has been and it always will be.

King George III would have sympathized with people who are more suspicious of their own neighbors than those in the political offices far away from their homes. The exploitation of a tragedy for the gain of governmental control has repeatedly lead to authoritarian regimes.
