RE: Failing New York Times Reports That 52 Times ISIS "Used Chemical Arms" in Iraq and Syria
I heard in the media that Assad's regime is responsible for the chemical weapons attacks. It doesn't matter who is responsible, it should never be allowed.
Very true, hopefully we can end all the global lawlessness. But I'm not sure forcefully deposing Assad would do anything but expand territory for radical Wahhabists, while risking a larger conflict with Russia.
I know Theodore Postol has questioned the official narrative of past attacks Assad has been blamed for so not sure how much you can trust the media and the government.

It matters who is responsible. It is interesting that it only matters when we talk about chemicals. What about 90+% of the conventional killings, who is arming the opposition?
good point, is suffocating from gas that much worse than bleeding out from bullets or shrapnel?
