😱BOTTLED FRESH CANADIAN AIR SELLS LIKE CRAZY in CHINA!😱- HOW TO MAKE MONEY OUT OF THIN AIR😁
Hey Steemians!
Two days ago as I was going through my feed I found a post made by @oldtimer about the place called Banff that is in Canada, all the pictures he took were absolutely mesmerizing and I had to comment on it of course, I wrote that the place looked magical and fairy and that the air there must be very fresh. He replied, saying that : he had read recently that the the cans filed with the air from this very place is being sold to China. As I was reading his reply, sitting on a chair on my balcony I clapped my hands together, laughed and thought: Wow,this guy cracks me up! So I wrote back: Well, then I'm gonna find it on Taobao and order it right away then!
I thought it was a joke but apparently it's true!So in order for people like me who don't know about this not to look silly in front of others I would like to share some info about the good old fresh air that is being sold for the price higher than meat in China 🇨🇳
There is a relatively new company, called - "Vitality Air" that sells cans filled with fresh air!
I'm still shocked as you are now probably! And by making a joke about Taobao I actually not even knowing it was absolutely right! I opened my Taobao app and input Vitality Air and then this popped up:
My god, as shocking as it might sound it does exist and being sold quite successfully to Chinese customers!
How did it all start?
Two guys from Canada came up with an idea of business that would be fun and disruptive and so they decided to sell AIR! They put their first bag of zip locked air on eBay which was sold for 99 cents, then the second one sold for 168 Canadian dollars😱 (122 US dollars)
After second sale they figured they had something going there and started selling air in cans.
It takes them 10 hours to bottle the air plus four hours to ride to Banff as they live in Edmonton city that is quite far from there.
This topic is very important and personal to me as I live in China,Hangzhou city. The air here is terrible. It can be nice like that:
But sometimes it gets even worse than in Beijing:
(Same balcony, pay attention to the background all smoggy ⬇️)
it's almost unbearable to live here especially for sensitive group of people with asthma and lung problems.
No wonder Chinese people are buying this air willingly and ready to cash out in order to have a breath of fresh air every day even if they have to literally pay for it.
As I'm still being quite astonished with the idea of fresh air sold in cans that is supposed to be free, but on the other hand we should remember that the same thing happened with fresh clean water as well, we just forgot it pretty quickly.
In Kazakhstan, China, India and so so many other countries tap water can not be used for drinking or cooking, people have to buy it every single day. It's very sad, but that's what it is😏
Now, the "Vitality Air" or any other company that will want to sell air later to people is not and never will be the solution for air pollution problems that still exist in China, India and Dubai, I think with this thing happening government should even harder than before try to look closely to this horrible environmental problem.People can't keep living like that just because there is now a fresh air from Canada on the market!
What do you guys think?
It's crazy but China really need to do something serious to tackle their solution. I don't know how people live like that
Beijing people made a funny video about how they should solve the problem with air pollution by growing chic mustache out of their noses hahah Yeah, China tries to make the situation better but I guess it's not that easy
It is seriously wild but this has been going on for a while now actually selling china clean air. Seriously something wrong with that in China you think you would do something about it... Must be all the bitcoin and now junk bitcoin cash mining lol
It has been going on for quite a while! Hahahha yeah desperate junk bitcoin cash mining 😂😂😂
It's amazing, isn't it? It's also gross that people feel the need to buy bottled air... I mean wtf?
I think it's not normal to want to sell the air to people who are in this kind of desperate situation.I don't live in Beijing, but I think if there was a day when you literally can't breath in air outside maybe I would want to buy this air and fill my lungs with fresh air even if it's only for 5 minutes
Both me and my younger brother have gotten asthma living here in China, they call It the airpocolypse. Approximately 4400 people die in china each day because of this pollution, that's around 1.6 million each year... It is crazy.. that's almost 5 times the population of Iceland!
I've had some of the worst lung infections of my life here. It was to the point where I was coughing so hard I bruised my ribs. I've also had a lot of friends mention their hair becoming frail and falling out. One of my close friends lost his eye brows little by little. He moved back to the UK and now they are slowly growing back.
I'm heading back next year to Sweden, its hard to justify staying here when the air is so bad...
Fair enough! I miss the fresh air in Canada. It's funny though because Hangzhou actually has tremendously fresh air compared to the city I was in before. It averages at around 150 aqi everyday but I've seen it get up to 800.
Man, that is really bad! I guess It is all the coal they use up there in the more northern parts. I guess it's a way of looking at it, eventhough it's not good air compared to Canada and Sweden, for China the air in Hangzhou is not the worst :)
This is so crazy! I guess that there must be people selling lots of air filters, and masks. People with respiratory problems can't live there I guess. I had no idea this problem was so serious
Filters and masks are a given here...Yeah,they have huge problems with their health because of the air pollution. When the air gets super bad sometimes people just have to stay indoors.
wow, I'm going to read about it
That sucks! I have heard about the poor air quality in some of the cities of China, and the pictures look terrible. It must be really hard living there, especially if you have asthma or something.
Yeah, not very enjoyable!Blue clear skies is a luxury, people take pics of them and post it on social media happy
Yes. So many of us forget that blue skies is a definite luxury. Thanks for that reminder. I needed that. :)
I'm thinking about selling some beach air from NJ. I'm going to look into this. I'm sorry that China has let you down so much with environmental protection.
😁😁😁Can I have a discount here?
Maybe we can work out a deal, you want to be the wholesaler?
I was kidding,I'm not really good at sales 😁
I'm astonished with the idea too... @damira!!
Hahaha
It is crazy @damira
Yeah it is!
Wow. I'll be in my backyard.
