If the situation wasn't so dire this would be hilarious but the truth of the matter is incredibly sad. When will people wake up? Stricter gun laws are not advisable they are essential and have been proven to decrease the kind of crime that is currently breaking America's heart. 💔

I also feel the below tweet from Sally Kohn is painfully true. Individuals commit these crimes, not religions or races and one of the most effective ways to stop the individual is to make it a hell of a lot harder to access the kind of weapons used. In this case, the kind of weapons that in my opinion should never land in the hands of the public. Who needs an automatic weapon? A solider in the army that's who not some random man walking into Walmart with murder on his mind.
There's so much sadness all over the world right now, so many tragedies - natural and man made - I'm praying for peace and for love this Monday morning and hoping that we can come together and fight for change to make this world a better, safer place.

It's not exactly clear HOW he obtained them yet, however. Maybe he knew some CIA gun runner or something (I almost did a little typo and put "fun runner." That would have fit with your "funny" category, I suppose, if I hadn't noticed it).

Now you want us to make it a crime for crooked lawbreakers to illegally obtain banned weapons against the law, right?
Well take heart! I'm sure that when the deep state neo-feudalists are able to complete the destruction of our constitutional democracy, one of the first things they will do is seize all firearms from the peasants.
I didn't mean to cause any offence @osopapa - I don't claim to be an expert and by "funny" I only meant in relationship to the video which - no matter the severity of the content - is delivered to the audience in a sarcastic and funny manner.
When I said individuals I didn't mean one, I meant that religions and races shouldn't be blamed for the actions of a few as they have in the past. If you watched the video you will know that Australia have had huge success since tightening their gun laws and that was the only point I was making.
I'm not sure what you are referring to about deep state neo-feudalists or who the peasants are that you talk of. All I was trying to highlight is that it is far easier to obtain a firearm in American than it is in many other countries and the number of mass shootings are also far higher, I personally think the two are related.

I absolutely agree that we should not use the actions of a few individuals to scapegoat an entire race or religion! But I merely said that the Las Vegas shooter may not have acted alone. It would be a huge stretch to think that I might be trying to blame a whole race or religion.
Obviously, if those who would commit mass murder do not have access to firearms, then we won’t have mass “shootings.” But we may still have mass murders. In recent years, several widely reported “terrorist attacks” have used lethal weapons that did not involve firearms. I believe that Australia’s relative lack of such attacks may more accurately be attributed to less fanatical lunatics than to less guns.
To say that we should ban all guns because a single attacker used guns is just as intellectually flawed as saying that we should blame a whole religion because a particular terrorist happened to practice that religion.
In the United States recently, an attack in a church was thwarted because a single worshiper in that church had a legally registered and legally carried firearm in his possession. But you didn’t hear about that did you? In one attack in China, several people in a public venue were killed or injured (including some policemen) because even the police did not have weapons with which to oppose a group of attackers with knives. In one of China’s knife attacks in a school, one security guard with a weapon could have saved several children.
I apologize for my vague references to deep-state neo-feudalism. Here in the United States, most of us have awakened to the fact that globalist (or international) interests have been quietly trying to replace our Constitutional Democracy form of government with something else. Hence the election of Donald Trump. But even here, most don’t realize that the “something else” is basically a re-hash of middle ages feudalism in which power would be concentrated in the upper classes, and the working class would be turned into powerless “peasants.” But that’s a subject for its own separate article.

Hi @osopapa - sorry i only picked this up now. Thanks for your reply and I'm very glad I didn't cause offence. It's an interesting and ultimately very sad topic. I think perhaps you touched on the crux of the matter when referencing Australia's lower fanatical lunatic rate, maybe that's where we need to start, with raising our children to feel and give love, to be connected with their community and families and in doing so find a sense of belonging. Maybe then the world would have less hatred and ultimately less tragedies. All we can do is hope that people are more good than bad. Here's hoping! 🙏 Have a good day
