It's an absolutely unspeakable tragedy!
How can a building like this. It have properly functioning fire alarms?
Why would emergency personnel tell residents the fire was "contained" and that they should "stay in their units and wait for help"?
These are questions that MUST be answered and those responsible for such negligence need to be held accountable.
