Crypto News Flash #242: Yahoo Finance Launched Bitcoin, Litecoin & Ethereum Trading
Crypto market has gained much popularity in 2017 so that every single Finance company is trying their hands on Crypto business. We have already seen the launching of many crypto exchanges in past 2 years and still we can see various new exchanges coming into the market every now and then. For sure, the crypto business is rewarding and customers are attracted towards it.
Talking about the crypto exchanges, Yahoo Finance has also launched Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin trading on their websites recently.
This development by Yahoo Finance has been appreciated by whole crypto community calling it an attempt to the contribution of mass adoption of cryptocurrencies.
As of now, you can directly trade Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum on Yahoo Finance website after signing-up on their website. Although, statistics are also available for other crypto as well e.g. Bitcoin Cash, EOS and Ethereum Classic (ETC) but there no buying/selling options for them currently.
In March, the Japanese arm of internet giant Yahoo said it will open a cryptocurrency exchange “in April 2019 or later.” Yahoo Japan was going to buy 40 percent of BitARG Exchange Tokyo in April, and immediately dispatch executives to lay the foundations for the exchange to launch a year later.

Good news, especially as traditional companies that compete with yahoo are more likely to not sit around and let Yahoo develop a competitive advantage. I predict we will see other more traditional based businesses look to get involved in the cryptosphere.
