I've been aware that such a devastating occurrence is over-due but it certainly is news that hundreds of billions of dollars has been paid to foreign governments to help relocate survivors.

Seems somewhat like a predictor market with a deadline. What happens to that money if nothing happens in the next seven years? Seems to me the piggies have been wallowing in the trough again.
