What's Happening Meow: Syrian Conflict
Hi everyone, if you've been living in a cat house without access to the outside world the past decade, you may not realize there is conflict going on in Syria. Recently this conflict has peaked again in that it looks like Europe is getting dragged further into it. Today I thought we'd discuss this as global politics has been an interest of mine for a couple of decades and Syria is quite topical.
A few days ago a gas attack was conducted in Syria and there isn't solid evidence yet as to who conducted the attack. Some say it was the government and of course the government says it wasn't them, it was the rebels or someone else. The government has been warned not to use gas and if they did use the gas it would have been pretty stupid as they have recently been winning and Trump said he would pull out a week ago.
USA, France and UK want to attack Syria as punishment for using gas on civilians. It should be noted that many of the Syrian problems and Middle Eastern problems stem back to a time when France and the UK improperly divided Syria and the region after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire a century ago. They divided Syria and Iraq based on straight lines and not necessarily on cultural lines or some other more rational way. France took the Syrian side, UK ruled the Iraqi side, many of the problems today come from improvised boarders. Throw Turkey and the Kurds into the mix and it's even more complicated.
The story is way too long to explain as Russia is defending Syria, Rebels are supported by USA, Kurds, Turks, Arabs and ISIS are all involved too. Isreal has recently attacked Syria, Iran has troops there and Saudia Arabia is probably funding some fighting as well. It's a complete mess and the sides are blurred. Other countries are also unofficially involved.
Here's some of my opinions, feel free to debate them:
USA, UK and France should not police Syria. Their record in the Middle East is apauling and they are not going there just to right the wrong of attacks on innocent civilians. Re. Team America World Police.
USA has directly and indirectly killed more innocent Arabs than Assad and Putin combined.
Oil and pipelines have little to do with this, it's more about selling weapon systems and testing alliances than gaining access to oil.
Trump is a hypocrite and should pull out of Syria before it's too late. America has nothing to gain.
Isreal wants to secure it's northern boarder and ensure Iran doesn't have ground forces or bases in Syria.
Thank you for taking the time to read my opinion about the Syrian Conflict. I appreciate your support and am happy to debate the issue. I am not on any side and do not recommend participation in military conflicts or harming innocent civilians. I am also not a snowflake and am not easily offended.

Bye for Meow 😺 mRmmmmmmm...
Why do you assume there were even gas attacks? I say there is no solid evidence that an attack even occurred. Remember that Hollywood (Israeli controlled) media can produce what ever they want you to believe.
The Dr.'s at the hospital where that attacks didn't happen said there were no chemical attacks.
These war criminals do everything based on money and self interest. Israel Government is the most anti-semitic government on the earth. Yet they cry anti-semite to anyone who calls them out for their crimes. Telling the truth about crime is not anti-semitic killing Semitic speaking people is!
BTW what does a cat have to do with any of this?
Let me rephrase that "a week ago some mainstream Western media says gas attacks happened in Syria. They blame the government. It was the same media that falsified previous gas attacks and the false WMD narrative used for invading Iraq. But we aren't 100% sure this is fake news yet."
I agree that killing Semitic people is anti-Semitic. Who is the most anti-Semitic is debatable.
My name is @crypticat, using a cat as an avatar makes it impossible for anyone to call me racist. That being said, I am not a fan of yappy little dogs.
Cool I like most animals that are useful such as cats dogs and other frutiful animals.
We used to raise Seal Point Manx cats.
Most don't understand that the Hebrew people and most Arabs and Egyptian people are related by blood. Most people dont realize that the Palestinian people and Ashkenazi Jews are not related and the people that control Israel are not Hebrew Jews.
According to Merriam Webster the Definition of Semite
1 a : a member of any of a number of peoples of ancient southwestern Asia including the Akkadians, Phoenicians, Hebrews, and Arabs
b : a descendant of these peoples
2 : a member of a modern people speaking a Semitic language
I would think because of the Sematic's of things that most people in the World think that Semite only applies to Ashkenazi Jews and it does not apply to them at all! Just Saying.
Nice post. I agree with your points 100%, though I also think international bankers have a great deal to do with most every push for war in history including this one. Keep up the good work, and hopefully someday peace will prevail. War is an entirely unnecessary construct of society fueled by greed, hate and ignorance - hopefully someday people as a whole can move past war as a regular, accepted every day occurrence.
You're right, bankers own some Raytheon stocks and bankers lend the government cash to buy those missles. They also like to finance the rebuilding and borrowing to support refugees. War is profitable for some.
