Newsworthy: Canadian cryptocurrency exchange rates are too damn high!
Hi fellow Steemians!
Thanks to a user on Reddit (linked below), we can see that Canadian cryptocurrency exchange rates are TOO DAMN HIGH!
Not all of them are Canadian based exchanges, but many are and the highest one is CoinMama with Deposit Fee at 5% and Trade (Buy) Fee at 6%. With extra fees (not sure from where or what), the total comes to 11.5%! Absurd!
I'm not sure what the exchange rate is like in your country, or even my country as I haven't yet started trading cryptocurrency, but 11% seems extremely high. Many other exchanges listed in Canada don't seem that appealing either.
I hope our Canadian friends trading crypto have a look at the post on Reddit and the article I got this information from. I also hope for more competition in the region so you can get cheaper rates and more reliable exchanges too!

How about Quadriga?
Seems to be in the upper-middle at mid 6% (but with low trade fees). You can check out more info on exchanges in the source link!
