RE: Nintendo Is Facing A Class-action Lawsuit Over A Joy-Con Design Issue

in #news5 years ago

Yes, I have the drift issue on two of my controllers.

From what I understand, Nintendo is aware of the issue, and they are offering top notch support to fix any controllers with the drift problem, free of charge.

It is still disconcerting to me. I have two controllers with the same drift problem. If I want to buy a better controller, there is no guarentee from Nintendo that it won't also develop the same defect. That is a waste of time and money from the constomers who expect to receive a quality item. There are no alternative options to operate the Switch without a Nintendo JoyCon.

With the recent release of Switch Lite and the new JoyCon color controllers in Purple and Orange, everybody wants to know. Has the issue been fixed in the new models? Not likely. Nintendo does not even want to mention this drift issue in their ads. They are selling so many units, they are expecting the customers to dispose defective units like garbage. Nintendo should be forced to improve its product for their customers who expect better, or be prepared to pay for the damages the customers have suffered.

These controllers are not cheap!
