Strong explosion at Colima 19 Jan 2017 early morning
Two very strong vulcanian explosions occurred at Colima volcano on 19 Jan. This is the first of them, early morning (4:30am). The second one was in the evening (previous video) at 22:16 local time. Both ejected bombs to incredible heights and all over the cone, generated eruption lightning in the ash plumes that rose several km and small pyroclastic flows. Low-landing bombs ignited bush fires in the vegetation at the feet of the stratovolcano.
