Face-To-Face With North Korea

During an interview, Pence had mentioned that a talk with North Korean officials wasn't out of the picture. He intends to stand firm in the resolve that we wish for them to stop their nuclear power run and work together to make their country grow more peaceful and welcome them into the family of nations. He also mentioned that President Trump is always open for talks.

His intentions are to show the same resolve he wanted to show last April when visited the demilitarized zone and stared over the border into North Korea. Along these lines, the White House is also looking for talks.

The White House publicly signaled for the second day in a row Tuesday that it would consider a meeting with North Korea on the sidelines of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, a move that could help ease months of rising tensions and nuclear threats — at least for now — on the Korean peninsula.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think the tensions between the North and US can ever be resolved? They've been on a back and forth from time to time long before Trump took office, but could there be an ease? I've said multiple times that the possibility of North Korea being nothing but a distraction from bigger threats is HUGE but time will tell. Heavy sanctions are coming for North Korea yet again.
