R U KIDDING ME? The Chicken @ Subway's is Only 54% (max) Real Chicken **WOW** I'll Never Eat There AGAIN!

So what is the chicken made with considering the other 56% of what exactly is it though?? Really? What are we putting in our mouths, eating, as well as, digesting? YUK if it is even a word to say the least! On top of that blow, can you actually believe that "DNA testing reveals that Subway’s chicken isn’t what they claim it to be?" (the waking times , 2017). Yes, very true!!

Also, in 2014, Subway faced individual based and systemic-based backlash. Ultimately, "when it was revealed that the bread in their sandwiches contained a chemical commonly found in yoga mats and other rubbers. " (the waking times, 2017). Although Subway acted abruptly and removed the said ‘ingredient’ from their bread. Go figure that "they are now facing scrutiny amid a recent lab test that found their chicken only contains 53.6% chicken DNA." Gross to say the least!!

According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s Marketplace division, researchers at Trent University’s Wildlife Forensic DNA Laboratory to test chicken from various fast food restaurants, including Wendy’s, McDonald’s, A&W, and Tim Horton’s.

Nevertheless: “Subway’s decided to test them again, biopsying five new oven roasted chicken pieces, and five new orders of chicken strips.” Additionally, “Those results were averaged: the oven roasted chicken scored 53.6 per cent chicken DNA, and the chicken strips were found to have just 42.8 per cent chicken DNA. The majority of the remaining DNA? Soy.” Therefore we can conclude we have a big problem with that as well, just add it to the list of schmucks who live in this world! Ha!

So what is the other portion that makes up for nearly half of the, what even is in the other 56% of this so-called meat. This situation is just absolutely disturbing to me. Subway questioned the results of the tests. According to a company statement:

“SUBWAY Canada cannot confirm the veracity of the results of the lab testing you had conducted. However, we are concerned by the alleged findings you cite with respect to the proportion of soy content.”.

Claiming they recently tested their products and determined they were up to their standards, they added, “We will look into this again with our supplier to ensure that the chicken is meeting the high standard we set for all of our menu items and ingredients.” (All I can say is.. WOW and just look at their ad's, clearly one would have to ask themselves!
