⦁ For the first time in the United States, scientists have edited the genes of human embryos, a controversial step toward someday helping babies avoid inherited diseases.
The experiment was just an exercise in science - the embryos were not allowed to develop for more than a few days and were never intended to be implanted into a womb, according to MIT Technology Review, which first reported the news.
Officials at Oregon Health & Science University confirmed Thursday that the work took place there and said results would be published in a journal soon. It is thought to be the first such work in the U.S.; previous experiments like this have been reported from China. How many embryos were created and edited in the experiments has not been revealed.
The Oregon scientists reportedly used a technique called CRISPR, which allows specific sections of DNA to be altered or replaced. It's like using a molecular scissors to cut and paste DNA, and is much more precise than some types of gene therapy that cannot ensure that desired changes will take place exactly where and as intended. With gene editing, these so-called "germline" changes are permanent and would be passed down to any offspring.
The approach holds great potential to avoid many genetic diseases, but has raised fears of "designer babies" if done for less lofty reasons, such as producing desirable traits.

WOW. Now I could almost believe and go with, "studying for future health benefits" or perhaps "Studying for the sake and benefit of science", or even, "We were just curious." But this is beyond disturbing into the areas of HORRIFIC.

Where are YOUR taxes, DONATIONS, and Medial Bill fees going? To this I'll bet, at least in some portion. Which means, YOU are responsible for supporting this. The sad facts, WE ARE ALL REPONSIBLE FOR THIS.

So, at least 3 countries are actively creating GMO humans, and you can bet, if the Military and Private establishment is truly 100 to 150 years ahead of society technologically, then they most likely have been doing this for some time. You must remember that the truth is a vague memory of our grandparents Myths. They simply do not use it anymore in the media or public disclosures. Most of it is just truly bragging and advertising in the hopes of a future pay-off- be it by favor or currency.

We as a species have decimated the planet in all manor. Allowing ourselves to foolishly trust and put faith in leaders that ARE being blackmailed, manipulated, and well, u get it. We allow a billion people to be slowly dyeing of starvation, greed to run rampant and determine courses of action, acceptable mass destruction of human and animal life by way of war,(now a days called "disputes" etc.) Logic and Reason to be considered, STRANGE at best, and THEY are telling us:

No need for worry here.....We would NEVER, NEVER, create GMO Humans, or pervert mother nature in any way...
