And more importantly, is this why the market is so hit right now? Because the larger (50BTC+) investors are pulling out of not only Altcoins, but BTC as well?

The total value has decreased, that much can be seen on many sites.

The only reasoning I can make for this sudden change (this is not something that just "happens" to altcoins where 95% of them go red and even some of the largest lose 30% of their value) in altcoin prices is the Aug 1st scare.

IDK. I'm starting to learn more towards the future. A few bucks in each ICO, wait a few years and see which one makes me rich!
