What has been wrong with his responses the last couple of days? Unlike the prior administration he wanted to know who was at fault before making bold claims to not get something wrong like Obama did numerous times such as Libya and the Michael Brown incident in Ferguson, Missouri.

Remember when Brown was clearly criminal and wrong but Obama made him out to seem like a good guy: “In too many communities around the country, a gulf of mistrust exists between local residents and law enforcement,” Mr. Obama said. “Too many young men of color feel targeted by law enforcement — guilty of walking while black or driving while black, judged by stereotypes that fuel fear and resentment and hopelessness.”

Trump said exactly what he knew to be correct at the time right after the incident took place and that was to blame all "many sides" responsible for the violence.

He later came out and pointed at a few specific groups but should also have specifically denounced Antifa as well as they have been probably the number one cause of violence in protests the last year.
