Remember during the election campaign when Google cooked their search autofill results so that if you typed in "Hillary is" it would automatically populate "awesome" as pretty much the only option. Even Bing gave a far more honest reflection on what people were truly searching for, completing the autofill with "a crook", "sick", "going to jail" and "really a guy" !

But at least this has now all been fixed. Google search no longer thinks Hillary is "awesome", and instead thinks she is "Athena" for some reason. More tellingly, it seems gets paranoid and asks "is that you ?". Maybe it knows about the Clinton kill list, and just want's to know who's asking so that it doesn't become the next victim.

Bing has chickened out altogether, and now refuses to provide an autofill at all.

No such problems over at DuckDuckGo, where the responses are still honest.
