There was a smack down in the United Nations General Assembly, emergency session today. I had to watch all 2.5 hours of it so I could hear what each country had to say. The most (and only) appalling speeches were made by America and Israel. They were both threatening and insulting.

Israel spoke as if it wasn't an occupying force, as if they were not torturing the Palestinian people, as if they were the victims and not instituting an apartheid state. They went so far as to state the leaders of this world's countries were puppets of Palestine! America spoke like a hired thug, making threats on behalf of it's banking mafia, threatening extortion if the world did not do what they say. The mentally ill Nikki Haley stated they were the world's leader of peace with a straight face!

While the decision of 128-9 against the US is merely a smack on the wrist, I feel it's a turning point for the world in standing up to the American empire. The empire is falling and the world knows it well enough now. Today really put on display how vulnerable America is now. When the empire falls, the people will suffer and we will become more of a police state than what we all ready are. While I don't look forward to that day, I do look forward to the day murder is not happening in my name.
