How Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is using geospatial technologies for a "better world"
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation needs no introduction. Guided by the belief that every life has equal value, the Foundation has been on a crusade to save the world with the help of technology. And it has been particularly pushing for use of geospatial data and technology for developmental activities around the world. Recently, the Gates Foundation has committed to reshaping crop-based production systems in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia in partnership with DigitalGlobe and Monsanto.
