The Mainstream News Cycle is Here Today, Gone Today ✋👀
Yesterday, we had a stunningly tragic school shooting in which 10 lives were needlessly and mercilessly exterminated.
Today, the news cycle, at least on Yahoo, is dominated by a horse keeping alive the "Triple Crown." Three sub-headings feature Prince Harry's royal wedding. Only one discusses the school shooting.
Granted, Yahoo News cycles multiple stories throughout the day so the school tragedy could appear as top of the news on other people's browsers.
Still...really!?
I want to discuss the issues surrounding the school tragedy. But whatever your feelings about this horrific issue, I believe it should lever much more weight than a sporting event, or a silly royal wedding -- I mean, all this talk about Harry and Meghan...who cares? Live your freakin' lives!
